Late Entrant
Enrollment should be within 31 days of hire date. If an employee or dependent does not elect to participate when initially eligible, and elects to participate at the policyholder’s next annual election period, they will become a Late Entrant. As a Late Entrant, you and your dependent(s) will receive preventative dental services immediately, however, there will be a 6-month waiting period for basic dental services and a 24-month waiting period for major and orthodontia.
