Glenn Pierce
In 1968, Glenn began working with North Carolina employees providing supplemental insurance coverage throughout the state. Today, as Senior Partner, Glenn has developed Pierce Group Benefits into a family owned and operated firm specializing in a “one-stop-shop” experience that brings multiple products and services to public and private entities throughout North Carolina. With over 40 years of experience, Glenn brings a level of experience and satisfaction that is unsurpassed.

Donald Pierce, Chris Pierce
Donald and Chris bring over 35 years of combined experience as business partners within the firm and they play a key role in the continuing growth at Pierce Group Benefits. Their focus on the needs of current and prospective clients enables the office team to design and implement benefits packages that reduce costs for clients while providing equal or improved benefits. Their experience and desire ensures that clients’ needs are met and satisfaction levels are above expectations. Their dedication, along with that of the Pierce Group Benefits team, is evident through the many references available through this website.

David Charland
As Senior Manager, David communicates effectively to maintain excellent business relationships with prospective and existing clients by remaining attuned to their needs. He uses his leadership role to encourage creativity and unity within our organization while monitoring the Pierce Group Benefits team to ensure the highest level of quality is met and each client is treated with the utmost respect and importance. David manages company wide issues from evaluation of financial performance, tracking trends and monitoring of sales results to accompanying account managers on visits to provide customer service support.

Wendy Hardman, Kristi Flournoy, Monica Nixon, Laura Tippett
As Account Managers, Wendy, Kristi, Monica and Laura organize each client’s enrollment team, coordinate the enrollment period, gather pre-enrollment and post-enrollment paperwork and supervise each open enrollment process from start to finish. They also serve as the main point of contact for each of their assigned accounts for all levels of plan administrator customer service. They travel extensively throughout North Carolina to each individual account and provide high standards of service for all of Pierce Group Benefits’ accounts.

Clint Schaefer & Matt Kulp
As Technology Director, Clint works with the IT team to build and manage the enrollment databases for the automated sales technology program used by enrollers during each enrollment period, making the enrollment process run smoothly and efficiently. He writes software programs and serves as technical support for the Pierce Group Benefits office staff.  Matt is proficient in software operations and how to enter post-enrollment information effectively so queries and custom reports can be created for clients and carriers.

Robin Craver, Paula Mitchell, Veronica Weese
Robin, Paula and Veronica serve as phone support for Pierce Group Benefits’ North Carolina Service Center, assisting over 127,000 public sector employees each year. They are responsible for educating employees on available benefits and enrolling individuals interested in benefits offered through their employer. Robin, Paula and Veronica  work with employees one-on-one while consistently maintaining high-standard performance via exceptional service, follow-through work, and specific attention to detail which results in high customer satisfaction.

Raquel Bootes, Kate Eberle, Charlotte Reaves
As Administrative Support Executives, Raquel and Kate coordinate and provide administrative support and oversight to the partners and staff.  Charlotte’s role as Finance Manager encompasses all aspects of both internal and external accounting as well as the HR component.  With a combined total of over 60 years of administrative experience, they are the group behind Pierce Group Benefits.

Alanna Messimore
As Benefits Specialist, Alanna serves as the contact person between Pierce Group Benefits and our affiliated carriers during each account’s renewal and bid process. She is responsible for requesting renewal and proposal rates from carriers for our current and prospective clients, shopping the market for competitive rates and presenting the resulting information to the account manager to be introduced to the client for approval.

Quincy Caspar
As Marketing Director, Quincy designs and develops the templates for employee benefit booklets used for training and enrollment within the Pierce Group client base, targeting over 127,000 employees each year. She participates in employee sponsored conferences and benefits fairs throughout North Carolina in order the educate employees about their benefits packages. Quincy also assists in the creation of Pierce Group Benefits marketing material including internal and external company literature and promotional products.

Jill Welle
As Marketing Specialist, Jill is responsible for all aspects of Pierce Group Benefits’ marketing and advertising efforts.  She is responsible for designing and developing all print and promotional materials, maintaining and driving traffic to the company’s website, handling public relations, and seeking out new and innovative marketing opportunities.
